to patriciaruth:I don't know any real american secret region's name except the "area 51" of many films which may have the meaning I want to describe, just for giving an example.

to all:Talking about the Katrina hurricane disaster, I remember China offered $5 million and emergency supplies worth 5 million yuan($600,000) in aid for victims .
And in tsunami of Indonesia China aided almost 1 billion yuans including gov. and civilians, though many chinese hates indonesian because they are anti-china and killed many innocent people of chinese in the riot of indonesia on 1998 and other time.
In chinese, there are really many kinds of people. Also there are who have pleasure derived from the misfortunes of other "enemy country" they consider as in politics. But also more chinese always show their mercy and humanity and spurn the rude ones.

So,I am sure human beings are good in nature. No reason to involve dirty political things in everything. It's unfair to make judgements on that way. It's unfair to compare any country and it's gov. or people when they are totally not same in every domain.Understanding is the cure.

Could never be more sorrow, and doesn't know how...

How would such a terrible terrible tragedy happened to my people, happened to those kids, happened to us all...

They came from the earth, and returned to the earth.

Dust to dusts, dirt to dirts, ash to ashes, and may God bless their spirits into Heaven.

Your information about the contributions of the Chinese peoples to victims of other world disasters is very good to hear. It gives a lot of hope that relations are improving around the world, that people are helping each other out when disasters strike.

You are right that every nation has many different people with many different attitudes.

The people in my country at the moment are very divided in their beliefs and attitudes about many issues. We are at a crossroads, like we were before our Civil War in 1860 A.D. when we went to war with each other over the issue of slavery.

People here on each side of this current philosophical/political/religious divide 148 years later are finding it very difficult, if not impossible, to compromise on their most deeply held beliefs. It is making family life difficult as even families now are divided in what they believe.

You will hear many contradictory things coming from our politicians. The contradictions reflect the division in this country, as the different politicians here represent different groups of people here.

Underneath it all, everyone wishes what is best for human beings in our country and in the world. We are simply in great disagreement about how to achieve the best for everyone. Although there are some here who believe that human beings matter less than the planet Earth that we live on, and human needs should be secondary to the health and well being of the planet.

It may be easier lately to have a kind and loving discussion with those of you on the other side of the world than with some in our own families. It is very ironic and sad. We have changed so that at best we now simply try to be polite with our family members and avoid discussing the disagreements.
