"Praise" is not my word:
John McCain Praises Pro-illegal Protests
April 02, 2006

Sen. John McCain is praising the recent wave of pro-illegal immigration demonstrations, saying that if the protesters hang tough they will succeed in forcing Congress to liberalize immigration laws.

"If such demonstrations continue, I think we will have a bill for the President to sign soon," the Arizona Republican told a New York City gathering on Friday sponsored by the Irish Lobby for Immigration Reform.

"The more debate, the more demonstrations, the more likely we will prevail," McCain added, in quotes picked up by the New York Daily News.

(snip)

All one had to do is look at the protesters to see who the organizers were--socialist and communist groups. International Answer would be at the top of the pack.

My objection to these groups has nothing to do with their race or country of origin. It has to do with the rule of law and the ideology of those to whom McCain is pandering. He is not wooing people to vote for him because they agree with the Republican platform or conservative ideals. He is pandering and capitulating to their demands giving them more power. I object to the SURRENDER of my country and I object to people like you who continue to throw around words like "racist" at people who will fight to defend it. Half my living family is Mexican-American and NONE of them agree with what John McCain is doing. There is a large group of latinos in the United States that should be recruited to the GOP--but they are NOT those associated with La Raza, the public employee unions, or the Che Guevara and Hugo Chavez lovers who were marching in the street demanding citizenship for lawbreakers.

Look, amnesty of some form is going to be passed into law no matter who becomes president. It’s a done deal. Move on to the actual important issues like the WOT.
