Because most people want to see him shot but are unwilling to pay $10 and sit for 2 hours for the privilege. Charge $200 apiece and only show the 2 minute money shot.
Probably recoup the cost of the picture.
Reminds me of one the the best parts of the movie Gettysburg - getting to watch Ted Turner die.
