My post was not to you and I totally agree with you.

My post, in general, goes out to all those so-called conservatives willing to throw their principles overboard because John McCain is not as bad as the alternative.

My post goes out to all those conservatives who stick their head in the sand and refuse to see that as John McCain has promised by his refusal to drop "Comprehensive Immigration Reform" (A.K.A. Amnesty) he is signaling that he will grant amnesty to 20-40 million+ Criminal Illegal Aliens who will vote 65%+ for Democrats as the Legal Hispanic population of the US has always voted EVEN AFTER REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT REAGAN GRANTED them AMNESTY.

Furthermore, the resultant imbalance of Democrat Voters from this Amnesty dumped into the American Electorate will overturn the razor-thin majorities which Republicans have used to win elections during the last several election cycles.

In addition, this will be the last knife in the back that many conservatives will take from the GOP. The result of which will be millions of conservatives will leave the GOP or just check out of the process.

This will guarantee GOP Minority status for decades to come.

Gridlock is what we should be working towards.

With John McCain, and his left-wing positions on many issues and his desire to please his Democrat Friends, he will be pushing many issues that are anathema to conservatives and Republican congressman will only be too willing to go along with what he is pushing much as what has happened with GWB.

However, if a Democrat is elected POTUS, the GOP will somehow find their spine and remember who they represent and that they are the party of Reagan and will fight everything that the Democrats try to pass.

Gridlock is the Key!
