Hasn’t McCain already said that because of Global Warming, we need to burn LESS oil? It’ll be interesting to see if he takes time off the campaign pander trail to even vote on this one.

Maybe not. His recent Global Warming speeches would suggest he'd vote against it. Knowing how much he's been pandering to the Left these days, I could see him just skipping the vote as a way of setting up plausible deniability.
The guys a blatant opportunist with very little in the way of morals or principles. I'd put nothing past him.
