We will all watch what happens and time will tell, but thats the word on The Hill tonight.

At this point, I doubt it.
More likely scenario:
Hillary bows out around June 15. She then focuses on hurting Obama and indrectly helping McCain win in November, to destroy Barack and put herself right in line to run in 2012 - I don’t think that her age at 65 or anything will stop her.
She’s calculating enough to know that a plan like shown above is VERY risky at this point, and if it backfired, it would backfire BIG TIME.

Jackson and Sharpton see this as a very winning strategy. They become the saviors of Hillarys campaign... or two more fatalities during the riots.

but the old line Democrat party pros, know Obama cant be elected It seems to me that Obama's supporters are more united than anything I've seen from the McCain camp, so I'm not sure the contention that he can't be elected is absolutely true.
It's much like predicting a win in a football game - case in point: check the Appalachian State - Michigan score.

Interesting story, and they’re sticking to it, or at least considering sticking it to Obama. If both Jackson and Sharpton endorse and heavily talk-up Hillo at the convention, heal the party, and endorse Obama as VP, that may do it for Hillary. Smart ploy.
The talk of an Obama-Strickland ticket worries me though, and it may look like a winner to the old Demv pols. And right now there mayt be too many heavy hitters on Obama’s team (Jimmy Carter, Teddy and his crew, etc.) for the Jackson and Sharpton plan to work.

Sorry, Hillary wins or is toast. More than anyone else, she knows that.
For her to win in 2012, she would need an unpopular president and more than that, she would need America and the MSM to be “excited” about her again, and no one is ever excited about 4 year old milk, cheese, meat or political also-rans.

I don’t think blacks and the young people that Obama has attracted are that dumb.

"Steal" ..... must be something that runs in the family genes. I thought it was 'like father, like son', however I guess it's 'like husband, like wife'. I wonder, which one taught the other?

Exactly. We must never underestimate the enemy. They are very smart, devious and cunning; and that’s what makes them dangerous.

That scenario seems to be a stretch. I see Hillary going all the way to a roll call vote and if she loses it, makes a speech about the hopes and aspirations of women and then a luke warm endorsement of Obama. After that, she and Bill disappear for two months. When the damaged Obama gets creamed in the General, she will reappear with a few public speeches that will imply “I told you so”.

Hillary can’t steal the nomination but the democrat party decision makers can screw Obama and give it to her if they choose to.

The Fawning Faithful would vote the Dem ticket even if they nominated Heinrich Himmler, as long as Jessie and Al told them to do so.

The problem the Dems have is they don’t know how many votes for Obama were actually anti-Hillary votes and visa-versa.

If Hillary was serious about 2012, she would have bowed out gracefully months ago and given Obama tepid support through the election hoping for a blow out win for McCain. A big loss in November would knock Obama out of the party's power structure and setting her up for being the nominee in 2012.
By going all out for the nomination by whatever means necessary she is burning all her bridges and if she ultimately looses the nomination to Obama she will just be the junior Senator from New York.

Anything’s possible. Like the Nation of Islam assassinated Malcom X, I can see civil rights activists Jackson and Sharpton “assassinating” Obama as a candidate.
On the other hand, I wouldn’t put it past Jackson and Sharpton to be secretly making deals with Obama’s camp, too. So they’re golden no matter who wins.

Tinfoil. Don’t stare in disbelief too long when the ticket is Obama/Clinton

I don't buy it. Sharpton was just threatening on Wed or Thu that depriving Obama of the nomination would result in the destruction of the party.
Two liberal print patsies (E.J.Dionne and some other one) were on NPR just last night saying it's over.

I certainly don’t see Hillary “uniting the party” by supporting Obama. Either she gets what she wants or sc*** the party.
