Obviously the NY Times was never really supportive of a woman president. or else they would wait for the cenvention vote of the person they are supposed to have endorsed. There is ample precendent for candidates waiting until the vote on the floor.

She owes more to millions of Americans who have voted for her (and particularly to New Yorkers, who are entitled to expect that if she loses, she will return to the Senate with her influence and integrity intact).
Influence? Integrity? Coulda fooled me.

The United States needs a clean break from eight catastrophic years of George W. Bush. Sure, they call this an "editorial," but there is no by-line.
Tell us, again, NYT, that you're a newspaperRAPER.

THAT’S THE POINT. She and old willy take and take and take and take and NEVER GIVE BACK NOR do they care about those who GAVE AND GAVE AND GAVE AND GAVE AND GAVE.
My dad used to say in life there are people who take and take and take and NEVER give anything back. The clintins are the takers of this world.

Mrs. Clinton will be making a terrible mistake for herself, her party and for the nation The nation? I don't think so.

Very revealing... “leaving her integrity intact” — two references to this. Do you think the NY Times really buys that she has any integrity left? Hey, fellas: Do you think your integrity is still intact?!

If you thought Obama would lose to McCain, but that you would win, ... It is a thought but there is no creditable evidence to support it.

“But we believe just as strongly that Mrs. Clinton will be making a terrible mistake....”
In other words...good luck staying even as Senator from NY unless you do as we tell you....
