Now she is trailing in every quantifiable category of victory for the Democratic nomination, what sort of convoluted, cockamamie, tortured rationale is she going to offer up now to justify staying in the race?

The race isn’t over until the king or queen is crowned.

Hillary’s monkeys are flying now!

She'll say she's a woman; hear her roar.
The Clintons are mentally ill.

Mr. Obama racked up seven endorsements in the last 24 hours from superdelegates, the Democratic Party insiders who are granted autonomy to support whomever they wish at the convention in August. One, a New Jersey congressman, switched his allegiance away from Mrs. Clinton, allowing the Illinois senator to pull ahead of his opponent, according to the latest New York Times count. I am not Obama's supporter, but I enjoy every hour of The Beast destruction, wonder what Limbaugh is going to advocate now, voting for your friendly county dog catcher?

Don't you remember the 2000 election? :)
Next they be asking for a recount and a re-recount and a re-re-recount... until they get the results they want.
The Democrats don't play fair. Has to do with their liberal anything goes beliefs.
Like to think Republicans are more fair. Romney could have hung around for a few more months but he did the right thing.

That the American people really want her - and they just don't know it ... yet. Is that a delusion or what? (It's waaaaay past time for her to exit stage left.)

The Democrats don't play fair. Has to do with their liberal anything goes beliefs. Did you notice how Dems on CNN assumed there was vote cheating when "Lake County" in Indiana didn't come in until after midnight?
One guy actually said it - said, " in the old days votes were held back until we knew how many it would take to win".
No one batted an eyelash. Cheating pretty normal for them...

Why, to nail down the VP slot, of course.
She will present it as the democrats having no other choice if they want to win.
It is clearly demonstrated that Obama is not going to prevail without the white middle class, which he has lost, and that she can deliver that bloc.
Everyone had best take off the tinfoil, put sown the pipe and stop dreaming that this cannot happen.
I believe that it is going to happen.
And it spells defeat for McCain. Period.
The bigger problem is that he is going to suck up all of the RNC cash that would otherwise go to lower tier candidates while McCain tilts at the windmill of “independents and moderates.”

(I will vote for McCain if he resigns his Senate seat before this election.)

I saw a different total today that had him down 272.5 to 271.

LOL. The analogy that Hillary is Miss Gulch couldn't be more apt but you seem to implying that Toto is the Democratic nomination. Is that because it's a "dog"?

Toto could also collectively represent the Superdelegates who more closely resemble rodents.

Richardson is Obama’s VP. They will need New Mexico and McCain with his legalize illegal immigration stand will make it difficult for Obama.

It's not officially over until the Wicked Witch of the Ozarks is dragged out of the Pepsi Center in Denver by the men in white suits - kicking and screaming all the way. But it is obvious that the tipping point has been reached and an avalanche of superdelegates are going Obama's way as it is now safe for them to walk in Fort Marcy Park without an armed escort.
America can breathe easier now as the Clintons are toast and Obama is going to get smoked in November. Absolutely smoked.
