A sudden collapse would shroud vast areas with hot gas, ash and molten rock, killing anything in its way. Not to be outdone, East Texas has its own collapsed dome but it isn't emitting hot gas, ash and molten rock yet.

Is it OK to speculate that this might contribute to climate change now? Every now and then a big volcano goes off and it cools the earth slightly for a couple of years. Mother nature knows what she's doing!

Mt. Pinatubo belched more bad stuff into the air than all of mankind has for the past 150 years. After this eruption Id have to say WE ARE ALL DOOMED!. Bush’s fault of course.

I hope not, I got a mortgage to pay off... on second thought.
The Earth is a living entity with volcanic zits, some which lie dormant for long periods of time, this year was its turn to plume up after 9300plus years since its last eruption..
