As the postings are all over the map here are my thoughts: McCain will get beat like a rented mule. He is doing everything he can to turn off most of the republican party and this refrain that we will vote for him won't fly as many just won't vote. He is once again on his immigration "reform" and wants to tour the country to educate us about global warming. Other than a few issues why would a democrat vote for McCain when they can get the same thing plus more liberal judges? McCain isn't a conservative that can bring in democrats like Reagan. McCain is all over the map, a poor speaker and he will get eaten alive by Obama. Obama will talk circles around him and make him look like an old fool.

My biggest worry is what he will do to the down ticket races. If, as I fear, he gets really beat the GOP won't even rate honorable mention in Congress.

Unfortunately Colorado's redness is turing bluer every year. We now have a Democrat governor and legislature, a Democrat senator, and several Democrat congresscritters. We have a saying here: "North means mountains to the left. South means mountains to the right. East and West are where liberals come from." And they have come, and they're taking over. My county is still safely red, but I don't know for how long.

I've heard that yuns been getting a lot of "immigrants" from California and that is why your State is turning blue. I had a friend who lived in Broomfield (near Boulder) and remember seeing a large influx if West Coasters coming in. Much like you, he didn't like that very much and kept telling us that Colorado as a Red State could change, several years before he passed away, he moved closer to Denver, lived in the same suburb as Columbine. Here in PA, we are generally a Blue State, if Hillary wins the nomination or steals it, I'm sure we will go blue, but if Obama gets it I really think McCain has a strong chance here. Philly loves Obama, but rural PA and blue collar Pittsburgh (outside of the artsy/fartsy crowd) don't like him.

Someone say this is going to be a nail biter?

Puhleeze....

Fact is, Obama if no one noticed, is black and there are still people in this country who will not vote for a black. Conservatives liked Condi and Colin until we found out they were libs.

Libs are racists. Why is Hillary leading in WV by 40 points and the media is keeping it quiet. You would think they would ask Robert Byrd who he is endorsing.

Obama will not win one red state. He will lose states with working class whites(Pennsy, Ohio, Mich) He will lose the elderly vote, he will lose the moderate vote. The only votes he will win are the black vote and the young vote, which votes Democrat anyway.

McCain is going to run away with this.
