Clayton Cramer has done an enormous amount of very powerful and intelligent work regarding the RKBA and its history, from court decisions on down. One of his most prominent works was the thorough debunking of Micheal Bellesiles (remember him?) bogus book "Arming America" where
Bellesiles lamely attempted to rewrite American history regarding firearms ownership.

"Arming America"Ah, yes. When Bellesiles was asked where he got his information, I believe he said the San Francisco Library. However, all the info was lost after the 1906 earthquake, if memory serves.

I’ve met Clayton Cramer before, and had the chance to break bread a few times with him, and I can honestly say that he is not only one of the most intelligent people I’ve met, but a really nice person as well. I wish him all the best, and wish we could have some like him on the national scene.
