I disagree. Nazi ideology was a steeped in occultism and the Nazi party itself was created from the Thule Society, an occultic, nationalistic group which almost all the top Nazis were members. The SS was especially occultic.
I guess what he rightly suggested, was that the Muslim SS Divisions were the only ones based on a long established “official” religion. (Although the case could be made that islam is a cult itself anyway). The Muslim SS Divisions were the only SS units with clerics. The Wehrmacht had chaplains, but not the SS.
