If our taxes go up on my $100k+ salary, perhaps we'll have to think about cutting back on non-essential nicities, like our bi-weekly cleaning service, as we continue to work to pay off tens of thousands of dollars of debt we incurred to adopt our son from Russia.

Too bad, really, our cleaning service is a nice young lady working hard to make ends meet.

Consequences mean nothing as long as it feels good,
including raising taxes on the rich.
