I saw Col. George “Bud” Day, talking about his and John McCain’s war experiences and it is very moving, and shows that John McCain has strength of character when it counts.
If John McCain truly had the character necessary to make a good President he would not have acted in the deplorable fashion that he has done on multiple occasions since 2000.
If by that statement you mean't his character is better than the alternative, sure, I'll buy that, but his character if flawed nonetheless.
I applaud his service and sacrifice, however, it does not make up for his extremely bad behavior as a Republican.
And it does not matter how much lipstick you put on a pig, it is still a pig.

Yep, I would never presume to question his military experience or his heroism, just his history in politics. And that is what he should be judged on if he wants to be president. IMHO
