This does not change how McCain has voted on amnesty or taxes. Does not change his words or deeds on the border fence. Does not change his statements on marriage or roe vs wade. We do not give Murtha or Rev Wright or Kerry a free pass because they served or did something of note.Ben Franklin said it best, "We must, indeed, all hang together, or most assuredly we shall all hang separately."
McCain is our only hope to keep Obama/Clinton out of the White House. Rest assured that the Dem ticket will be Hussein and Hillary together and the Dem turnout will be huge. McCain may not even be able to pull it out even with full support of conservatives.

Your statement proves the point. McCain is irrelevant in this race.
It is not about McCain vs Obama. It is about anybody but Obama.
McCain has no coat tails, McCain has no fundraising gravitas. I would submit McCain has ANTI-fundraising gravitas. To hear McCain is to cause one to close the checkbook.
This race is only about keeping the commies out.
