That's one of the virtues of FR - if an article seems important but impenetrable, you can always skim down to the FReeper comments in hopeful expectation of a knowledgeable person to help make sense of things. Generally someone will have a cogent comment to provide some perspective.

The beauty of Free Republic. May times in the past I have said FR is like a distributed system truth detector. One large computer will not always give the proper analysis that many individual computer nodes will.
That is the power of FR that makes FR so effective in so many lives. Sort of like looking at the whole forest you see a forest. Several people looking at individual trees may explain the realities of the whole forest better.
