After a few weeks of attempts by Democrats (and the media) to get John McCain to lose his temper publicly — with absolutely no success — John McCain has decided to embrace his passion rather than deny it.

I get really mad when I see people sneaking into our country illegally and the government doesn’t even lift a finger to stop them.

About the only group or individual McCain gets mad at these days are conservatives. McCain really got mad at Senator Cornyn when he was against his Kennedy/McCain amnesty/destroy American sovereignty Bill.

"If he really had a temper problem, McCain said, he would not have been able to work with fellow senators such as Ted Kennedy, a Massachusetts Democrat; Russ Feingold, a Wisconsin Democrat; and his friend Joe Lieberman, the 2000 Democratic vice presidential nominee who now is an Independent."

I don't believe anyone has ever accused McCain of having a "temper problem" with his friends and like-thinkers, the Democrats. It's the conservatives in what he claims to be his party that he has disagreements with and unloads his temper tantrums on.

In fairness to the ancient mariner, I don’t really think he had time to read through any of the document ~ at least according to Jeff Sessions and Jim DeMint ~ details, details! (sarc)

Exactly.

Several times I have heard McCain talk so slowly and in such a monotone that I wondered if he was medicated.

I never thought about him being medicated. I guess that's a possibility I hadn't considered. I thought he had been warned by his handlers so often to be careful and consider each word he said so that it could not be used in ads against him, like the "100 yrs. in Iraq" clip, and since he is so old, it's hard for him to concentrate on thinking and talking at the same time. He could probably do one or the other, but not both simultaneously, at least not at a normal pace. LOL!

Next time I see him doing this, I will look for signs of medication.
