Etixos, I appreciate those remarks. I, too, was like you, was hospitalized decades ago for alcohol overdose, and we lost our dear niece who, like Lauren, had kicked the habit or so we thought, and overdosed after being clean, and died. Many of us on these threads have been there.
Grunthor, I am only glad my family did not take the approach that it was ok to snuff me, and sentence me to death by two weeks of dehydration because of my addiction overdose. It is just a little harsh when ruthless killers whine about the cruelty of lethal injections, and the innocent get the painful route not allowed for the nastiest of animals.
We have received so many letters recently, copies of what has been written to our governor, that we are overwhelmed. Thank you to all who have written. Attached is just a sampling of the tremendous outpouring of love in defense of Lauren.
