Hillary Clinton, 60, Illinois native and Arkansas lawyer, became, retroactively, a lifelong Yankee fan at age 52 when, shopping for a U.S. Senate seat, she adopted New York state as home sweet home. She may think, or at least would argue, that when she was 12 her Yankees really won the 1960 World Series, by standards of "fairness," because they trounced the Pirates in runs scored, 55-27, over seven games, so there.

Wouldn’t the 1919 World Series be a more fitting analogy given these two contenders come from Chicago???

The baseball analogy is flawed because it assumes that you aren’t just making up all of the rules as you go along.

Wouldn’t it be funny if Obama used the Supreme Court precedent (compliments Bush 2000) to halt Hillary’s creative vote counting.

Which one is shoeless Joe? Depends on which day of the week it is given the cast of characters from old Bubba Bill to the Rev J Wright with Howie Dean and Ayres in the middle.

Actually since the money man $oro$ in the campaign 2008 has funded ALL the candidates he will be the winner no matter who actually wins the election.

She’s “sort of tied” because Obama hasn’t won! ... and can’t win! as Rush points out. It’s all in the hands of the superdelegates ... as Rush points out. By refusing to give up, she’s forcing the SD’s to do their dirty work, although I don’t think she’s angling for political martyrdom. Why aren’t all the SD’s just declaring for Obama? That would end it.

Unfortunately, baseball's rules -- pesky nuisances, rules -- say it matters how runs are distributed during a World Series. The Pirates won four games, which is the point of the exercise, by a total margin of seven runs, while the Yankees were winning three by a total of 35 runs. You can look it up.

... his manner lulls his adversaries into underestimating his sheer toughness -- the tempered steel beneath the sleek suits.
He's not tough! He fell to pieces and ran from a press conference. He can't answer the simplest questions about capital gains taxes. He's such an easy target, but no Republican will hit him, much less pummel him. McCain won't hit him. If everyone is afraid to touch him, he'll just walk to the White House.

The baseball analogy is flawed because it assumes that you arent just making up all of the rules as you go along. You mean like Calvin Ball?

....and dividing Obama's delegate advantage in caucus states by pi multiplied by the square root of Yankee Stadium's ZIP code. Intrigued, our resident dweeb calculated the square root of Yankee Stadium's zip code as 102.23.
