Oh, the Rev is black. Surprise.
Every time that I’ve heard the “GD” clip played, I heard the line,”...And thats in the Bible.” The Rev. must be thinking about something else.
Does it get any better after the part you excerpted? ‘Cause I almost tossed a cookie getting that far. Ridiculous excuses for absurdly expressed hatred. And Wright was Obama’s pastor/spiritual mentor/adviser for 20 years whether he attended lots of sermons or not.
Bush should find a Republican spiritual advisor. But perhaps it’s too late
May I live long enough to hear a black criticize a black leader! Probably once in a thousand years. The black populace is very intimidated by such as Al and Jesse!
too bad the “spiritual advisor” sees it as he does, I don’t agree but will not belabor the points he feels are worth working to elect a vessel for liberalism, but everyone is free to their opine.
All you have to do is make Rev. Wright white; make him McCain’s close spiritual adviser; and have him mimicking black people, Hispanic people, and Asian people.
There wouldn’t be a person on the planet who would defend him or try to find some religious rationalization for what he said. The media would be in meltdown. The Democrats would use him in campaign commericials.
What we as Americans have to do is treat Rev. Wright exactly the way we’d treat any white person who said the things he did.
Making excuses or rationalizing bad behavior from non-whites is the textbook definition of racism.
THE POLITICAL AND RELIGIOUS WHORES ARE STARTING TO SURFACE, CHOOSING RACE OVER MORALITY, GODLINESS AND PATRIOTISM.
How about 20 years worth of Sundays? Everyone else in the world who goes to church manages to work and go to church. Quit making excuses for Obama. He sat there for 20 years worth of Sundays, shouting "Amen" to Racist Wrights Sunday racist sermons. Wright: "God damn America!" Obama: "Amen" Wright: "American wwhitey invented aids to kill blacks!" Obama: "Amen".
I, too, do not profess to be an expert on the Bible, but it seems to me it was written before 1492, right? Wouldn’t any reference to America be one hell of a good guess?
The metaphor falls on its face. It isn't true that America makes itself and views itself as God. This is just a kinder gentler anti-American prejudice. At least Rev Wright isn't pissing on our backs and telling us its raining. This guy is.
Here is how he describes his relationship as a “spiritual advisor”:
“ How often have you been in touch during his second term? Eight or nine times a year?. I typically call him. He seldom calls me”
Sounds like just another hustler to me!
Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to
prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that
seemed delightfully uncalculated [...], Mr. Obama described the
call to prayer as "one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at
sunset."

Complete total garbage. No wonder President Jorge acts the way he does sometimes.
