thanks for the reply,
but obviously nyc endorses mob rule.
Somebody in law enforcement should have the integrity to close sharpton down, once and for “all”,as in all of the law abiding people nationwide.
When you have to reroute your daily transit ride to school or work and have more on your mind due to this race baiting moron, something has to be done.
All I’ve read so far is they’re only charged with disorderly conduct.
Large crowds are expected for the midweek acts of civil disobedience. For the massive pray-in, Sharpton is asking protesters to gather Wednesday at 3 p.m. in at least six places around the city: 125th Street and Third Avenue; 60th Street and Third Avenue; 34th Street and Park Avenue; Varick and Houston streets; One Police Plaza; and House of the Lord Church on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn.
Sharpton said the protesters would fan out from their meeting points, but he would not disclose their destinations.

this is more than a disgrace.
Agreed on all counts, and upon retrospect and in light of new information acquired since my initial New York Post article posting here, I would in fact want to withdraw my earlier expressed encouragement for people to send the Police Commissioner a hearty thank you in this particular circumstance, for reasons that I'll now detail.
In the videos included along with this article,
wcbstv.com - Sharpton Arrested In Citywide 'Slowdown' Protests
the on-camera reporter says (paraphrased) that it was all a very organized affair, and it was organized down to the point of the 'protesters' handing the police a list of people who had indicated a willingness to be arrested. Those persons stepped forward and were duly arrested. This was not a 'riot' that was bravely put down by New York's Finest; it was a manufactured event, from start to finish, done with the assistance and blessing of New York's political administration.
If true, this was all a mutual little dance between the City of New York and Al Sharpton. I therefore have zero respect for the Commissioner, a politician, who apparently aided Sharpton in shutting down the City and causing untold strife for perhaps millions of people, most of whom are probably far more honest and virtuous than he has proven himself to be..
I don't blame the regular police officers....this sort of thing is beyond their control and they are only able to do their best with the situation that's handed them by the politicians
