1. The “most pledged delegates” or “highest popular vote” arguments are meaningless. The only important fact is that Obama (so far) has not won enough delegates for a first-ballot victory. What that means is that he has failed (so far) to win the nomination. I know everyone knows this, but Obama-backers and media types keep acting like there’s some kind of moral “obligation” to give it to the guy in the lead.
If Hillary is such a superior candidate, then why has Hillary not been able to close the deal in this campaign? Why has your girl, with all the advantages coming in, been upstaged by a rookie senator?
She's not such a great candidate. Obama got the Dems much more excited. The general election is a different story (like McGovern).
Also, please don't call her "my girl." I really wouldn't mind if she disappeared into the sunset forever.
