Limbaugh throws support to 'weaker' Obama
Politico ^ | May 7th, 2008 | Ben Smith

Posted on 05/07/2008 10:42:55 AM PDT by The_Republican

Rush Limbaugh, between crowing about the success and attention of his "Operation Chaos," switched sides in the Democratic primary this morning.

"I now urge the Democratic superdelegates to go publicly make your mind up for Obama," he said.

Earlier, he said, "I'm now tempted to tell superdelegates to pick Obama because I now believe he would be the weakest nominee."

Limbaugh had been urging his listeners to support Hillary as the only chance for Republican victory in November, and to extend the Democratic primary. Exit polls and anecdotes suggest that many did.

Not sure there are really a lot of dittoheads among the superdelegates, however.

Also, he took an obligatory shot at McGovern, who just called on Clinton to drop out.

"Mcgovern in his lifetime wants to see someone lose worse than he did," he said.

Now Limbaugh trying to use "reverse-psychology" on Super Delegates to help elect his dream girl.

In addition, Drudge reports that Hillary just added nearly $7 million of her own money into her campaign.

If nothing else, continuing will financially hurt her.

Right now, Rush is complaining about how the RAT voters in MI and FL are being “disenfranchised”. It’s gotten to the point where Limbaugh is parroting Clinton talking points, ranting on about the voting rights act and all. After the last two days, I have deep suspiscion that Rush Limbaugh is trying to get Hillary Clinton elected President.

This is too funny. Operation CHAOS worked as well as could be hoped. At this point, Obama does look like the weaker candidate. As the media calls for Hillary to drop out, she will quietly win primary after primary, so this is a good time to try to finish her off.

“I have deep suspiscion that Rush Limbaugh is trying to get Hillary Clinton elected President.”

You need to take a break from “Operation Chaos”. Limbaugh is simply having too much fun.

The more successful Rush is with this campaign the more effort the Democrats will put in to shutting him up. Expect a big push for the ‘Fairness Doctrine’ in the next year.

Obama is not the weaker candiate. Though some of the bloom is off the rose, he has withstood the Wright affair in fairly good shape and there is a long time before the election. I predicted here that he would easily beat McCain and I see no reason to retract that prediction. IMHO, it is all down-hill for McCain (who got an artificial bump) from now on.

LOL! McGovern had better resign himself to the fact he is and will most likely remain the all time loser!
