Saw a video where cops were trying to stop a “hot pursuit runner” and several cops at close range shot at the perp in his van 20+ times and NEVER hit the dude. Sure makes one more comfortable with no need to protect yourself the LEOS will protect the citizens!!

That is exactly right.
I personally would never own a Glock. The idea of having to pull the trigger to take the slide off is a little... weird.

Every time I watch that video, I can’t believe it.

If I was in a classroom when some dimwit accidentally discharged a round I'd be pretty disgruntled. The guy accidentally shot himself. Accidentally shooting yourself, particularly in a non-emergency situation is pretty much total proof that you shouldn't carry a firearm. Shooting yourself during an emergency is still bad, but at least you can make the argument that you slipped or something. Shooting yourself in the foot while sitting at a desk is pretty retarded.
