She’ll do some dirty work for McCain and help get him elected. Then she’ll go head to head with him in 4 years. Assuming McCain is around and healthy enough to credibly serve for 4 additional years. Unlikely, since he'll already be the oldest major party candidate on general election day 2008.

Assuming McCain is around and healthy enough to credibly serve for 4 additional years. Unlikely, since he'll already be the oldest major party candidate on general election day 2008. I don't think you've seen his mother. She's 96 and more spunky than most 70 year olds I know.
