This arrangement of the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" is performed by four high school choirs, plus a choir of elementary school children. A band accompanies the choirs, and the accompanying web graphics are beautifully done.
The web site host, GreatDanePro, says, "I found the arrangement deeply moving. The little kids get the first verse to themselves, then the high schoolers join in."

I hope they sang, “as he died to make men holy, let us die to make men free.” These days, one usually hears the more politically correct “as he died to make men holy, let us live to make men free.”
Patriots all.
Wow, what a great performance!

Beautiful! Absolutely Beautiful!
My neighbor e-mailed this to me last week. Moved me to tears. I loved the pictures as well. Just beautiful.
Standing ovation here! Wonderful!

I've already e-mailed this link to our Pastor to see if he can play it during our Memorial Day services.
I might be wrong but I think there is one incorrect lyric in the graphic. After "As he died to make men Holy", I think the correct lyric is "let us live to make men free" not "let us die to make men free".
Other than that, Bravo!
They sing the politically correct version, even though the words that appear on the screen show the first version.
I'm a public H.S. teacher and-all in all-I'm damn near speechless that this ever made it into a public school presentation.
Even with the live to make men free line I'm glad to see that a public school somewhere did this.
Must be that the school's administration didn't know what the song was about.
All my life it seems like I've heard it as "let us live to make men free."
Live and learn.
The Battle Hymn ALWAYS makes me cry.
The students performed it beautifully.
Our choir sang a medley of military songs on Veterans
day. As we sang their song, the veterans from each
branch stood to attention.
I could hardly breath as tears of gratitude streamed
down my face. Words cannot express how their courage
humbles me.

Nobody ever won a war by dying for their country. You make
the other poor dumb bastard to die for his country.
My roots are in the South, North Carolina and Virginia mostly and I can see why this song might raise a few hackles. Still, I firmly believe we are heading toward a new war within the next few years and we’re going to need a “Battle Hymn” that will differentiate us from our enemies. “Dixie” is a fine old song and one worth keeping for the time when we’ve finally defeated Islam and can go back to bickering among ourselves. Until then though, I nominate “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” as our anthem. We will, after all, be fighting to preserve our republic.
