Jews have been around 3,000 years. They've outlasted every ancient civilization and speak the same language as their ancestors did and worship the same God. We all wish that Israel could be around for eternity. 60 years is the twilight of a human life but for a nation, its next to nothing. Modern Israel has its warts and shortcomings but there is also much to be proud of in being a free and highly developed state in a bad neighborhood.
