No, I think a lot of Freepers pretty much hate McCain because of who he is. Lets face it, he couldnt beat the most incompetent executive since James Earl Carter when he had the chance in 2000 so hes more than capable of losing this presidential election on his own. Right...and I still can't explain how he lost to a DUI-convicted and coke-snorting rumored "Texan" from Maine, who no one can remember ever showing up for this last two obligated years of Air Guard service while he was in Alabama campaigning for a buddy politician, except for the fact that McCain was somehow tied in the critical S.C. primary to being the father of an illegitimate "black child" (who was actually adopted from an Indian orphanage). And I suppose McCain is never going to understand that "gentlemen" aren't allowed in politics.

You can knock the President all you want...but McCain couldn’t beat him. Senator McCain and his supporters need to just grow up, accept that loss, and move on. Johnny gets his chance now.
