C'mon, let's get reeeel here. This guy has spent his entire adult life in universities, laboratories, research field trips to barren wastelands, reading books and writing the driest papers and books crammed with reams of boring data and findings.

Has he ever once been a guest on The View? Do you think MTV would ever invite this guy on a road trip party? Would Stephen Spielberg ask him to design a dinosaur? I just don't see what recommends him to talk about glaciers or ice sheets. What does he know about ice? He probably drinks his bourbon neet.

Hang it up, bro! Polar bears are drowning while this guy rides around the virgin tundra in a heated SUV drilling holes in the already overstressed ice caps.

Damn, you've changed my mind. I here now withdraw my support for all these articles that I've posted from all these loser eggheads who just aren't ready for prime-time. Ta heck with the alphabet soup after their names. I know now that if it isn't in that blockbuster movie “Inconvenient Truth” then it can't be...well...true. There IS nothing incongruous with Al Gore receiving the Nobel Peace prize. Nothing is wrong in the scientific community.
