Actaully, Bush was not slow at all. This dictatorship, much like democrat Gov. Blanco, reacted the same way BY NOT ALLOWING AID to get to the people. There is no difference at all

Bush should have taken over command. Eisenhower took over from Wallace when he wanted to desegregate the schools down south. Or at least Bush could have publicly denounced Blanco and said "I am willing to help right now." Why doesn't bury the dead bodies that are still in warehouses in NOLA?

Its called Posse Comitatus Act and it prohibits the federal government from entering a state without permission from the local government, i.e. Blanco.
