You got it. He was once attacked by the devil and broke and arm or leg.
He was interesting.

He was also out there and was practically disowned by the Catholic church if I remember correctly.

I don’t claim to be completely sane I’ve been a semi-regular listiner to coast since 92 or 93

I dont rember if he was disowened or left first. I rember him discussing it with Art one time something about the rankes of the priesthood being filled with people he didn’t see eye to eye with

When did Art Bell’s show start.

For some reason I think I remember working grave yard shift in as a kid and listening to that.

Is the show 25+ years old?

I remember now, for sure I was listening to Art during graveyard shift in the early 80s.

Talk about strange, I think I was once listening to Art Bell when Wolf-man Jack, the ex breathing famous DJ came into my work.
That's almost a Bigfoot sighting in it's own right.

It could be he was on in vegas for a while befor he made it acrossed the rockies

I looked it up, it was on in the early 80s.

I remember also listening to George Putnam in Los Angeles.
Then I caught Rush Limbaugh from the first year he was available in Los Angeles.

The old caller abortions were a keeper.

i bet Rush was funny in LA I rember how funny he was when he first went national

Yeah, he would abort callers, play a vacuum sucking sound and then would say the caller never existed and it was all painless.
This GREATLY upset women who had abortions for sure.

Then there was Frogman Henry who would call in.

25+ years ago Putnam was taking about the upcoming illegal immigration problems.

Sometimes I set the alarm using my cell phone and then just leave the radio on low as I go to sleep.

Ghost to ghost is good as well.

I don’t know that I’ve ever heard George Putnam. I got an XM radio for the truck about 5 years ago and I hardly listen to AM anymore

Putnam was a great pre-Rush Rush type of guy.

Doug From Upland was one of his best and most frequent guests from what I remember.
