Exactly! If we’re fighting to secure a nation halfway around the world, we also have to secure our own borders and ports as well. Like 1941-45, we secured our own borders and ports while fighting Hitler and Tojo.
Which leads me to believe that whatever it is our soldiers are fighting so bravely for, it’s not for our safety. If our safety were truly at risk, those borders and ports would be closed.
