Captain America has, like The Hulk, never been turned into a successful movie... I think maybe Hollywood has finally learned to treat the source material with respect and not kiddie it down, when it comes to doing super hero/comic based movies.
We’ll see if they continue it, or if Captain America revisited can join a history of flop attempts before it.
I look forward to seeing Iron Man, and The Dark Knight.
GL.. the only Hero worth talking about IMHO... however his universe is so large, and power so vast (face it, you can will it, it is) that I don’t see how it’ll wind up being treated well by Hollywood.
I’m late to the party but...

Both will be done by Marvel Movies. According to those in the know, the thought was that Marvel’s test came in Ironman. If it was good, all the following would be good.
Ironman is amazing.
Now, the next test for Marvel Movies is the get the rights to X-Men, Spiderman and Fantastic Four back. In the past, because they sold the rights, they would not allow crossovers (eventhough so many comic books did). Getting Fantastic Four is important because of the crossovers, but X-Men is even more important because Wolverine is an Avenger. They want him bad for the movie in 2011.
pardon my ignorance, but which character is that?
In post 22? That’s Black Widow, a member of the Avengers.
Ah yes. I saw the post-credits cameo. Nick Fury, Agent of Shield chatting to Iron Man about the Avengers project
thanks!
Hopefully, he’ll be portrayed correctly. I guarantee nothing will piss me off (as well as people who’ve read the Captain America comics) more than seeing a blatantly obvious patriot turned into an anti-American jab.
Of course, according the RATs, dissent (meaning treason) is the greatest form of Patriotism (saw the Thomas Jefforson quote on an Osama supporter’s car the other day and sooooo wanted to do some damage)

Having just watched a pirated version of the Incredible Hulk, on line, the next sequel will be the Iron Man vs. Incredible Hulk
