Back in the day, he was my favorite author (during high school).. But then his writing included more politics within the horror for every book he wrote. The more books he wrote, the more I started avoiding buying and reading them. It got to the point that “it’s Bush’s fault”, literally, in most, if not all, of his latest books. Since I lost my interest in his writing, I ended up being a big fan of Tom Clancy, and I believe his fiction is actually more educational all around. His books might also be fiction, but they have many geographical and technical references that are really interesting.
Anyway, I think that after his accident, a few, if not all, marbles fell out and he couldn’t find ‘em.
Most of the soldiers in my unit can read in multiple languages.
Oh, and Stephen....I can read well enough to recognize the fact that your books are a lot of formulaic crap.
I have never liked his works.
It’s one thing to be able to read, and another to be able to comprehend.
I’ll put our troops up against your abilities any day King.
So much for The Stand?
Don't buy his books. Just wait until the book you want shows up at the library.
I always thought Last of the Mohicans and To Kill a Mockingbird transfered well to the big screen.
