But once the general election commences, the surrogates go out and do the work. There’s no doubt this Jeremiah Wright thing would have come up no matter what. I don’t believe that McCain’s people wouldn’t do whatever they have to do to win. After all, he never let go of what Bush did to him in 2000. He knows the importance of going for the jugular...and I believe he was the balls to do it.

This whole thing just seems wrong...and if it backfires and Hillary winds up in the White House and we have ourselves to blame...don’t know how we’d get throught those 8 years. Correction, I don’t know how I will get through those 8 years.

Everyone has written off the fly-over, blue collar, white male voter. Just as liberals have time after time miscalculated the impact their positions on gun control have had on getting D’s elected, both Obama and Hillary have completely miscalculated what ‘the angry female’ and ‘the angry black’ candidate means to the white, blue collar male.

Both candidates have in no uncertain terms told white males that they are owed something, and this year they aim to collect. New England liberal academics may turn out in force for Obama and Hillary, but the rest of the ‘white devils’ out there in all the states aren’t going to vote for either one.

They are going to vote for McCain in droves, and basically for all the reasons why conservatives hate the guy so much.

This ENTIRE election is about race, gender, and payback. It’s really that simple.

In the privacy of the voting booth, they are going to pull the lever for McCain.

No pundit is going to write it up that way, and to be honest, this entire analysis isn’t mine. It’s my brother’s. He’s white, male, lives in California, works for the country, is in a union, and he can’t WAIT to vote for McCain. Privately, they will campaign as the union tells them to, but in the booth they are pulling the lever for McCain.

My brother says it’s even worse with divorced white males, who in many cases haven’t seen their kids in a while thanks to family court cases not going their way. They know what its like to have to pay some white lady back. They are DAMN sure not going to let a black man stretch out his hand along side their ex’s.

Who ever is asking the question, “Is the US ready for a black, or a female, President?” has got the question wrong. The question should be, “Is the US ready for an angry black man, or an angry white woman, President?”

These are questions around which people of various political ideologies can find a common area of agreement, it seems. Especially white, male, and non-college educated.

All John has to do is keep his gob shut.
