Yes...I worked for them until the Burr's Corners Caldor (Manchester CT) closed. One month we got BRAND new SHOPPING CARTS, and I said to my manager, "This is STUPID. We are bankrupt and we are getting new carts? Mismanagement is killing it."
I don’t think there’s a single private industry you can point to, where union labor predominates, that is doing well.
