AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, and Doctor of Democracy. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

Don’t call McLoon. He will hate it.

"The bill would open up the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) as well as the Atlantic and Pacific regions of the Outer Continental Shelf for exploration and production; and lift the one-year moratorium on developing oil shale in Colorado, Wyoming and Utah."
"Here we go again. If the senate voted it down when they had a majority of (alleged) Republicans, I doubt it'll be passed now."
The only difference now is the fact that gas prices are at record highs, and going higher. Voting "no" to ANWR drilling is going to carry a poltical cost it didn't before.

Ugh, I'm just not ready. Clint Jr is officially done with high school except for AP exams. I just can't wrap my mind around what it's going to be like without him here every night.
I'm dreading August when he leaves for school.

I’m sorry. On one hand you’re proud that you prepared them for the world and they’re doing well on their own, progressing, but it is difficult to let them go. I know one couple in their 70’s who have NEVER lived alone, one of their children has always been in some kind of trouble and needed to move back home. I try to focus on their successes and be a little proud that we must have done something right along the way. And those times when they do come home are wonderful.

US Senator Pete Domenici (R-NM), ranking member of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, introduced the American Energy Production Act of 2008 (S.2958)
YAY! GO PETE! This is just the type of cajones that we needed from 2005 to 2006, but we didn't see it. This is an EXCELLENT issue to get solved in a extremely volatile election year with gas prices and food prices rising. THIS IS AN AWESOME OPPORTUNITY!
