I was real young then but 35-40 years ago Dallas-ites woke up to a large section of downtown that had developed a bottomless pit overnight. It took months to overcome that hole and I really don’t recall if they filled it in or just built supports from one side to the other.

Yes, but since he’s not from here and Google Maps doesn’t identify it as such, I figured I’d not confuse him.
Google traffic seems to indicate that the problem has been fixed and that traffic is flowing again.

Um, actually, as the morning news described and showed it... it was a hole that was 6’ x 2’ and went all the way through the deck.
