TVO (T/V Ontario) has on Mark Steyn with moderator Steve Paikin as we speak. Mark explained some of his main points, re simple demographics that may afflict Europe. This being birthrates of Europeans and Islamic residents.
After some hesitation, three persons representing Islam- a young man and two young woman, agreed to sit and debate with Mr Steyn. Both are well educated and the women not attired with the garb associated with Islam. Both are pretty woman.
Both laid back advocates of their cause- the injustice of a Mark Steyn. They pointed out 22 articles, over a period of years, these in McClean's Magazine. True, they were evocative of things horrific to Westerners. Steyn did not write them.
Certainly Paikin got himself a real hot issue here. A little heated, but perhaps a step forward. This is arguable though. Problem is that the real culprits are elsewhere. I will being buying both big newspapers tommorrow. Toronto Star and National Post. To see if there is anything on this first time clash. (chuckle)
