Too bad the msm has never thought character is or should be a defining issue for the highest elected office in the land.

A contributor to the Objectivism newsgroup has a succinct assessment of the O-Bomb:
Obama's entire candidacy is built around those who are willing to be duped and through the active participation of a lying, conniving left- liberal press, a Hollywood klatsch of fantasy-filled, dim-witted people who feel guilty that a public throws so much money in their laps for such little talent as they have, and America-hating intellectual vipers nesting in the universities and civil service. --Charles Bell [from humanities.philosophy.objectivism newsgroup]

Too bad the msm has never thought character is or should be a defining issue for the highest elected office in the land. Why should they hold any importance in a trait that they don't possess themselves?

Barack Obama is being judged by the content of the characters he associates with. It's like a dream come true.

we, the voters, have an inalienable right to know the specifics
On the contrary,Obama supporters feel we should know as little as possible about the candidates we vote for, lest we find something negative...

"Isn't this what liberals usually say when their own characters come under public scrutiny?" Character? Just a distraction.
Weak on defense? Just a distraction.
Rapist's as POTUS? Just a distraction.
We're going to fix those fuel costs (but didn't do a damn thing as sat idly by while they increased over 100%). Just a distraction too.
Most liberal voting Senators on the planet? You guessed it!
More ethics violations than ever (but ignored by the msm). Yep! You know what it is!
Raise taxes? Hell YES!!! But thats just a distraction too!
C'mon you idiots! Vote Dim!!!

You are spot on: The Democrats always cry “Distraction!” whenever a light is shined on their dirty laundry.

Character is the primary issue in every Presidential election. Period.Sure. In your dreams. That's why the American people elected and re-elected not only Richard Nixon but also that estimable paragon of virtue, Billyboy Clinton. And in between, just to show how wise we are, we elected Jimmuh "Ah'll nevuh lah ta yew" Carter.
Character? America couldn't care less.
To: Born In America
It shouldn't be a factor because neither Klinton nor Osama have any character.

In a race based on character - Obama beats Clinton hands down.
