Nice to see that the people of London came to their senses and threw 'Red Ken' out of office. He was an embarassment to the city and his support for Hugo Chavez and his anti-american, islamist apologist attitudes had no place in Great Britain politics. Article below is a great example of how the left loves Hugo and just like Global Warming, are ready to believe anything, even if facts say otherwise.

What is the is first and second preference votes thing? Did the leftists in London come up with a voting method to try to assure themselves that the left vote could never be split and a conservative win in a three person race?

There was no good outcome for Labour in this contest. The Conservative candidate winning is bad news for Labour, but Red Ken winning would have been bad as well.

Politics is a very funny game. I read in a British newspaper, that were not many conservatives who wanted to run against Livingstone for mayor. Johnson was the fifth guy the party asked to run before they got Johnson to accept.
