So, the unborn have no rights according to our Constitution...Interesting.

Not so interesting as the absence of logic by which you infer your statement from mine.

Amendment 14 - Citizenship Rights:

1. ALL PERSONS BORN or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are CITIZENS of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive ANY PERSON of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to ANY PERSON within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.


The sentiment is shared in the Declaration of Independence:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

There are rights and privileges for citizens - such as voting - which do not belong to other PERSONS, such as legal resident aliens, and illegal aliens. However, all PERSONS have certain inalienable rights. So a person cannot steal from or kill an illegal alien without violating the same laws that protect citizens. They are also, under our Constitution, guaranteed the right to due process for any crimes for which they are accused.

As I said before. Unborn children are not yet CITIZENS, but they are PERSONS.

This is a very reasonable distinction. At the time of the Constitution being written, the sex of the child was unknown until birth. Names were given at birth. Birth certificates were, and still are, important legal documents. This custom predates this nation and is ongoing.

Legalized abortion is clearly unconstitutional due to the fact that the unborn are being deprived of life without due process.

So, contrary to your convoluted reasoning, the unborn do have rights.
