TULSA — Americans fed up with seeing high fuel prices at the pump should take their frustration out on Democrats, Vice President Dick Cheney told a cheering partisan crowd Friday evening in downtown Tulsa. snip "Something that is absolutely critical is for us to produce more oil and gas right here in the United States,” said Cheney, who appeared at a fundraiser for the Oklahoma Republican Party on the eve of its daylong convention today. snip "The problem in Washington is that a lot of our Democratic friends year after year have tried to stand in the way of increased energy production,” Cheney said. snip Cheney was interrupted several times by applause during his address of about 20 minutes.
"I don't care what you say, I'm not running again,” he joked. snip "The obstructionists obviously have prevailed so today we're no closer to ANWR production than we were 10 or 20 years ago,” Cheney said. Yep....we always go back to that weak dollar. Its been the Bush administration pushing it....hoping to sell US products cheaper...but I don’t much of that across the economy...just lots of foreigners showing up to buy US property and businesses.

Yup. When I recognize this lack of leadership, guts, brains, and commitment on the part of the R's I'm no longer a staunch Republican supporter. I vote that way out of necessity only. I have very little respect for the party as a whole. Thompson, Hunter, King, and a few others are the good guys. The rest are mostly gutless, worthless, spineless morons.

I believe that the “Green Reds” have so jumped the shark on the easily and regularly debunked man-caused global warming fraud that all environmentalist leftists have finally suffered a decisive loss of credibility in the eyes of the general public—especially as the gen-pub is being royally screwed by the high gas prices caused by their socialist anti-American agendas.

Start teaching classics - Plato, Blackstone... heck, throw Bunyan in there too - and students will be exposed to the same stuff that influenced people such as the founding fathers. Those same students might then develop critical thinking skills, and once that happened, the global left's indoctrination loop would be threatened.
No, 'tis far better to inject students with Al Gore quotes and lies about W.E.B. DuBois than give them unexpurgated Thomas Jefferson or the truth about George Washington.

It was vetoed by Clinton and then the Royal 100 Club Left wing Democrats would not let the drilling bill pass as they had over 40 votes.
