You're in favor of a directed economy, like the USSR had.
“Im not in favor of unions, but I am in favor of Americans working over Chinese.

No, I’m in favor of Americans producing products for the WORLD over the Chinese. So, no, nothing like the USSR.
Have a great day.
“Im not a fan of Walmart because they import cheap products from China, not because they pay their employees crap. No one is making you work at Walmart.”
I couldn’t agree more!
I hate the whining over Walmart wages, and healthcare. It’s a retail job! The skill set required includes: a warm body, regular respiration.
That said, I very much dislike Walmarts pressure on suppliers to normalize to Chinese production standards. I very rarely shop at Walmart.
Wal-Mart bashers hate it because of its success. It’s all part of the grand scheme that Marxists hold dear—the destruction of capitalism. They simply don’t want the ultimate American success story (and I think Wal-Mart is that) to exist and place a damper on their little socialist dreams.
Learn to debate without the personal attacks.
Sure it will. Even if the TV you buy is made in China, the people working at that WalMart live here and get wages with which they buy stuff, pay bills, etc.
Yeah, it's probably better to buy something American made, but to say shopping at WalMart does nothing for the economy is silly.
Uh, well, there's lots of Americans working at WalMart.
I meant in a manufacturing capacity.
Well there is a tremendous opportunity for you there to start a company that does just that!
WTF are you waiting for?

Investors...you got money? ;)
Someone of your vast financial knowledge and towering superiority should have no trouble attracting investors.
I presume that you have broad business background with many financial successes under your belt, otherwise it would be kind of deranged for you to say that a business like Wal-Mart, the nation's largest employer and largest retail distributor, doesn't know what it's doing and it could be done better.
Ah, you went the sarcastic route. I’d like you to point out where I said Walmart could be doing better? I never said it wasn’t a success, did I?
You implied that it was anti-American because it is a global company that sells products from throughout the world.
And you're afraid of them evil furriners takin' all ar j0bs.
Yeah, that was it. -rolls eyes-
I’ll keep it simple for you...good for Walmart, hope they continue to make a ton of money.
Bad for American manufacturing, they need more opportunities.
Higher salaries, quality affordable healthcare and paying what they owe like any good American, are just three things Wal-Mart can do tomorrow that will make them a company worthy of our money.
ROTFLMAO--This is one time I'm happy no one read the full opinion, or where it came from.
Don’t confuse a good rant with facts!
