Solar activity is at a low point last I remember.

What if it is not? Can it go lower?

No - it’s about as low as it can get right now (zero sunspots). Its more the length of time that it stays low. Another post had some discussion. Google Maunder Minimum too (long period with no sunspots in the 1600’s that correlates to the “Little Ice Age”.
