Eye of the Hurricane (Gore critic censored)

Climate Change: Colorado State University says it'll no longer promote the work of Dr. William Gray. Is it really a cost-cutting move or are CSU and eco-fascists trying to silence the godfather of hurricane forecasting?

- Snip -

The university says its decision is based solely on the burdens of keeping up with media requests and inquiries about Gray's work that overwhelm a lone media staffer.

It says the decision has nothing to do with the fact that Gray, professor emeritus of CSU's atmospheric department, has been an effective voice offering inconvenient truths debunking Al Gore's climate disaster theories.

- Snip -

"It bothers me that my fellow scientists are not speaking out against something they know is wrong," Gray once said. "But they also know that they'd never get any grants if they spoke out."

An increasing number are speaking out, inspired by Gray's courage. Gore and his ilk complain about government censorship of their views. But their opponents are the ones being silenced.

The Liberal Fascists are totalitarians at heart. They know that they can't fairly debate their critics, so they try to censor them. If a Dem wins the Presidency, along with a Dem Congress where we can't filibuster bills in the Senate, we will lose many of our freedoms.

Both parties are signed on to this environmental quackery and both are way to the left of the Dems as they were in Kennedys day. Global warming is IN because both parties say so in their policies. Newt Gingrich just signed on, and he has not ruled out an entry into the race. There are not enough rational, objective Reps in office to effectively oppose the Dem liberals on this environmental stuff. The public has to poke the republicans harder.

but not even a nuclear explosion could of removed the fake indian from a colorado university. It took years for them to finally get him to step down.

I guess tenure only matters when its about keeping a liberal professor from being kicked out.

“The university says its decision is based solely on the burdens of keeping up with media requests and inquiries about Gray’s work that overwhelm a lone media staffer.”

I call BS. If some AGW alarmist was getting this kind of media attention, he’d be assigned a whole media liason staff and touted as an important part of their faculty. Just more lib facism (redundant) doing all they can to silence dissent and the actual fatcs.

I’m sure Al Gore is devasted by all the news that say global warming has caused “severe weather conditions.”

This isn't the first time his hurricane-prediction outfit has had $$ taken away from them because of his public skepticism of Global Warming. I've heard him speak twice in the past couple of years at a GOP breakfast club.

He showed us headlines from the late 40's about the disaster of global warming (because temperatures were temporarily swinging upwards), followed by the headlines from the 60's about the disaster of global cooling (because they reversed direction). And he shed a lot of light on the very strong agenda-based motives that drive GW advocates.

The president's name is Penley. Although I doubt it will phase him, at least he doesn't come out of this unscathed if you scorch his pants with a note. You can also write him if you'd like to:

Of course, that should be “faze,” not “phase.”

It would be great if some other college or university would offer Dr. Gray a tentured position to carry on his work.

Alas, I’m not certain any would have the character to do so.

This is bad precedent. What in the heck is happening at CO? We have leftists like Ward Churchill and these censoring morons all over the universities like flies on manure, the voters decide to elect Salazar and Denver has opened itself to the donks with open arms, probably only to have some of the worse race riots in 20 years happen there, which I hope won’t but am afraid will.

Ft. Collins and CSU used to be a nice place, sounds like they’re trying to compete with Boulder on the communist promotion.

Yet in their college recruitment CSU won't hesitate to tout Gray. He should tell them to go pound wind and move on to a school that can appreciate him.

And wouldn't it be a hoot if it turned out that CSU had a media curriculum and thus plenty of undergrads and grad students who would benefit greatly by the opportunity to help out that "lone media staffer" dealing with a real-world scenario?
