We had that rule here too! I would hand my children the phone & say call. Then I would say well I guess we can start dividing up the one who is leaving stuff as he won't be taking it. Funny they never made the call & always behaved very well for awhile after those scenes. You were nicer then me, I wasn't packing a bag..they could go with the clothes on their backs.
