"My Fellow Americans: As you all know, the defeat of the Iraq regime has been completed.
Since congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our mission in Iraq is complete.
This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces from Iraq This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now ti me to begin the reckoning.
Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short . The United Kingdom , Spain , Bulgaria , Australia , and Poland are some of the countries listed there.
The other list contains every one not on the first list. Most of the world's nations are on that list. My press secretary will be distributing copies of both lists later this evening.
Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases immediately and indefinitely. The money saved during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi war. THEN EVERY YEAR THERE AFTER IT'll GO TO OUR SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM SO IT WONT GO BROKE IN 20 YEARS.
The American people are no longer going to pour money into thir d world Hell holes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.
Need help with a famine ? Wrestling with an epidemic? Call France .
In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect this money toward solving the vexing social problems we still have at home . On that note, a word to terrorist organizations. Screw with us and we will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth.
Thirsting for a gutsy country to terrorize? Try France or maybe China .
I am ordering the immediate severing of diplomatic relations with France , Germany , and Russia . Thanks for all your help, comrades. We are retiring from NATO as well. Bonne chance, mezamies.
I have instructed the Mayor of New York City to begin towing the many UN diplomatic vehicles located in Manhattan with more than two ;unpaid parking tickets to sites where those vehicles will be stripped, shredded and crushed. I don't care about whatever treaty pertains to this. You creeps have tens of thousands of unpaid tickets. Pay those tickets tomorrow or watch your precious Benzes, Beamers and limos be turned over to some of the finest chop shops in the world. I love New York
A special note to our neighbors. Canada is on List 2. Since we are likely to be seeing a lot more of each other, you folks might want to try not pissing us off for a change.
Mexico is also on List 2 its president and his entire corrupt government really need an attitude adjustment. I will have a couple extra thousand tanks and infantry divisions sitting around. Guess where I am going to put 'em? Yep, border security.
Oh, by the way, the United States is abrogating the NAFTA treaty - starting now. < BR>> We are tired of the one-way highway. Immediately, we'll be drilling for oil in Alaska- which will take care of this country's oil needs for decades to come. If you're an environmentalist who opposes this decision, I refer you to List 2 above: pick a country and move there.
It is time for America to focus on its own welfare and its own citizens. Some will accuse us of isolationism. I answer them by saying, 'darn tootin.'
Nearly a century of trying to help folks live a decent life around the world has only earned us the undying enmity of just about everyone on the planet. It is time to eliminate hunger in America It is time to eliminate homelessness in America . To the nations on List 1, a final thought. Thank you guys. We owe you and we won't forget.
To the nations on List 2, a final thought: You might want to learn to speak Arabic. & gt; God bless America .. Thank you and good night."
If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you are reading it in English, thank a soldier.
... but France is turning around under Zman.
Got this one yesterday as well, was going to post, but you
beat me to it. Thanks for posting, hopefully more will see it now.
Mission accomplished?
WOULDN’T IT BE GREAT TO TURN ON THE TV AND HEAR ANY U.S. PRESIDENT,
“any”...?
I like being in Iraq. It seems to bother OBL.
I would dearly love to here our President say this.
Apparently, the author does not realize two things:
1) US foreign aid is very small;
2) A good chunk of it goes to Egypt and Israel.
They completely missed the eviction of the UN & our withdrawal from same.
Otherwise, I agree.
It doesn’t matter how small our foreign aid is. Cut it ALL off.
Have you been watching the riots in Egypt. That country used to be known as the breadbasket of the old world.
Maybe by the time we get the Alaska oil fields in production, the economy might recover enough to support doing what we do now. (but I doubt it)
Ya know, We use 8.9 billion bbl’s of oil a year in this country. I wonder if there really is enough oil in Alaska to provide for our needs.
Lets see, if we import 60%, and use 9billion, then we need to produce about 5billion bbl’s a year from the Alaska oil fields. How big is the Anwar field? How big are the entire Alaska fields?? Seems to me we should be spending more time/effort on shale oil and coal-to-oil technology.
Now, since we wish to be isolationist, where will we get all those rare metals we need for the aerospace and other technical industries (ya know, Beryllium, Gallium, Titanium, etc, etc) Do we go to the third world mines and take them?? (oops, I forgot. We are building our wall, putting the military on the borders and staying on our side. To he** with the rest of the world.)
While this would be satisfying to our ego, it would hurt us more than it would help. (unless you want to use NASA to go grab a couple of asteroids to mine??)
YOU for president!
Although in the real world, I wouldn’t pull out of Iraq like that. I want to finish the job.
Wouldn’t it be great to turn off the TV and never turn it on again?
I am also tired of the democrate who now control Congress preventing us from drilling oil on our own soil. Bill Clinton, vetoed the bill allowing us to drill in ANWR in 1994. We could be using that oil now instead of giving our money to other countries who hate us.
There is plenty of oil in North Dakota. We could be drilling in the Gulf, the same place other countries are drilling in. We could be drilling in the Atlantic.
We could have Nuclear power but we don't because environmentalists and the democrat party.
How long do you think we will continue to put up with this crap?
It's time to make our congress do something constructive instead of destructive and I don't mean taxing the oil companies or any of the other garbage they have come up with.
We are Americans and we can do whatever we put our minds to.
3) And we buy most of our oil from Canada.
4) China is more than willing to take our place on the world stage.
:)
Right you are, Philly! Good one!
Cut the military to fund the socialist security system? That’s a dumb rat idea. I’d rather sell off the US weapons testing grounds and training bases since Iraq serves that purpose. The US now has the most battle-seasoned military in the world and is ready to crush all challengers. The way to solve the social security problem is flood Iraq with cutting-edge military robots. Within 20 years this robot technology will transition into commercial uses and will be the source of America’s new wealth, funding social security 10 times over. Military investment has always been the origin of America’s unusually great wealth.
I would also like to be able to freeze all assets of our congress. Lower their salaries to $30,000.00 a year. Take away all their perks and make them ride public transportation.
I'll bet they would be willing to drill for oil in the US then.
I agree with Resolute.
Keep France on the short list (List 1).
Other than that, I agree wholeheartedly with the e-mail.
This is complete lying BS. We have already spent over $500 billion on the war in Iraq. Total foreign aid last year was around $30 billion.
Last year we budgeted $100 billion more for the Iraq war than for all foreign aid.
