Just wait until some of these fools find out in November that they can’t change party affilliation now that they have declared themselves to be Democrats. At least that’s the way it is in WA.

Why does it matter what their party affiliation is in November?

Why would that matter ? You can vote for either party in the general.

That means nothing. Anyone can vote for whomever they want to on election day regardless of how they were registered in the primary. There were a few stories in the press that implied otherwise, but they're complete baloney. Just stories floated by partisan hacks to try to scare Republicans away from crossing over.

Same thing with the BS stories about how primary voters could be prosecuted for vote fraud if they didn't “intend” to vote for a Democrat in good faith and failed to uphold to the principles of the Democratic Party when they signed what amounted to a loyalty oath before obtaining a ballot. Such a thing is blatantly unconstitutional and they only ran these stories in the hopes that people wouldn't realize the threat is an empty one.
