“All-purpose, left-wing grievance day”
I work hard and obey the law. I am happy and blessed.
My only grievance is that the left-wing exists.

I can remember the first time I saw a May pole; Boston Common somewhere between '49/'51I was a teen when I saw my first May Day parade by the Communists in NYC. Even at that tender age I could see they were a bunch of losers and whiners. The next day the NY Daily News reported that as the Reds' march ended at 14th St., they'd hop on the subway up to Columbus Circle (59th St) and join the tail end of the parade to make it seem like there was a large turnout.
The main entertainment came when the longshoremen waded in to the tail of the parade and beat Hell out of any marcher they could get hold of.
